Camp Supervisor – Kids Explorer Camp

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Camp Supervisor to lead the Kids Explorer Camp. You will create a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children while delivering high‑quality activity programming and premium guest service in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome children and families, ensuring a friendly, secure, and inclusive atmosphere.
• Supervise children during games, arts & crafts, sports, storytelling, free play and structured programs.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver daily activity schedules, adapting them to age groups, weather and guest needs.
• Maintain safety standards, conduct check‑in/check‑out procedures and follow child safeguarding policies.
• Manage camp inventory, set up and break down activity areas, and keep the environment clean and organized.
• Lead and coach Camp Attendants or seasonal recreation staff, conducting daily briefings.
• Collaborate with Recreation, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams for seamless operations.
• Complete attendance logs, incident reports and program documentation accurately.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience working with children in camps, childcare, recreation or education.
• High school diploma required; studies in Early Childhood Education, Recreation or related fields preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Warm, patient, child‑centered attitude with a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and peak seasons.
