Event Sales & Services Assistant Manager

About the role

The Event Sales & Services Assistant Manager supports the Director of Event Sales & Services in driving sales, managing event operations, and delivering memorable experiences for guests at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Bermuda's premier luxury urban resort.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct direct sales outreach, including sales blitzes, prospecting initiatives, site inspections, and client events.
• Manage all aspects of multi‑day small to medium meetings and events as the primary contact, coordinating with operations teams.
• Assist with wedding coordination alongside senior management, planners, vendors, and partners.
• Facilitate off‑property catered events for local offices, venues, and boat catering.
• Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes for distribution.
• Initiate event services bookings, create contracts, maintain departmental files, and generate timely notifications.
• Solicit client guarantees and manage deposit creation and collection with the accounts team.
• Collaborate with the Group Rooms Specialist to ensure VIP arrival times and status are accurate.
• Design and print custom project materials such as menus, event diagrams, and seating plans.
• Perform administrative duties during peak season and any additional tasks assigned by the Director.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in event operations.
• Experience in a luxury hotel sales environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
