Housekeeping Supervisor (Luxury Resort)

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping team on designated floors of our luxury resort. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Fairmont’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assign rooms and tasks, train and coach room attendants, and monitor performance to uphold hotel standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Respond to guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping and coordinate with other departments for resolution.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies and equipment, order and track usage, and keep accurate records.
• Prepare and distribute handheld devices, report operational concerns, and assist with housekeeping reports.
• Support departmental initiatives, special projects and seasonal programs as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel management education is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with housekeeping management systems.
• Experience using electronic handheld devices for inventory and reporting.
