Housekeeping Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Trainer to join Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will design, deliver and coordinate training programs that ensure housekeeping staff meet Fairmont and Accor brand standards, safety practices and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and deliver comprehensive training programs for housekeeping colleagues, including onboarding, refresher courses and upskilling on new products and techniques.
• Support the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of housekeeping procedures, standards and checklists.
• Monitor performance through observations, audits and feedback, providing coaching and development plans.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping leadership, HR and Health & Safety teams to align training initiatives with hotel objectives.
• Maintain training schedules, records and certification documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with prior training, coaching or supervisory responsibilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or training certifications are an asset.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices related to housekeeping.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership and operational teams.
