Houseperson – Luxury Resort Housekeeping

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest luxury resort, as a Houseperson. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, floor stripping and waxing.
• Keep public areas tidy and presentable at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional cleaning or services.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Support the team with linen delivery, cart restocking, and supply replenishment.
• Assist colleagues during peak periods or special events and help train new team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational protocols.
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to excellence.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
