Pool Attendant (Casual)

About the role

The Pool Attendant provides proactive, professional service to guests at the resort’s pool area, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This casual position works closely with the Activities Manager and other team members to deliver the high standards expected at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain sufficient towel supplies, restocking from laundry as needed.
• Test and balance chlorine levels regularly.
• Vacuum the pool, remove debris, and clean skimmers.
• Monitor and adjust water levels.
• Keep towel bins empty and ensure adequate trash bins are placed.
• Clean umbrella tables, chairs, and sweep the pool deck.
• Maintain a tidy office area and poolside environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines, including epidemic protocols.

Required profile

• Valid CPR certification (required).
• Lifesaving certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, split shifts, and public holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
