Reserving Manager – Senior P&C Reinsurance Actuary

About the role

Our client, a specialist firm at the intersection of reinsurance and capital markets, is seeking a senior P&C reinsurance actuary to lead reserving and financial analysis for a specialist business line in Bermuda. The role includes managing one junior team member and delivering hands‑on actuarial work.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of reserving and financial analysis for a specialist P&C reinsurance business line in Bermuda.
• Manage and mentor a junior team member while contributing directly to actuarial deliverables.

Required profile

• Fellowship with a major actuarial body (e.g., SOA GI track, CAS, UK IFOA, SAI, Australian Institute) or equivalent associate status.
• Proven experience in reserving for reinsurance P&C portfolios.
• Ability to work hands‑on and deliver high‑quality actuarial analysis.
• Willingness to relocate to Bermuda; the client can sponsor a work permit for overseas candidates.
