Senior Actuary – P&C Reinsurance (Bermuda)

About the role
Our client, a specialist firm operating at the intersection of reinsurance and capital markets, is seeking a senior P&C reinsurance actuary to own reserving and financial analysis for a specialist business line in Bermuda. The role will manage one individual and involves both hands‑on actuarial work and people management.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of reserving and financial analysis for a specialist P&C reinsurance portfolio.
- Manage and mentor a junior team member.
Required profile
- Fellow of a major actuarial body (SOA GI track, CAS, UK IFOA, SAI, Australian Institute, etc.).
- Experience in reserving P&C reinsurance portfolios.
Required skills
- Proficiency in actuarial reserving techniques for P&C reinsurance.
- Ability to perform financial analysis and reporting.
