Senior Manager, Financial Services Consulting

About the role

EY is hiring a Consulting Senior Manager for its Financial Services Office (FSO) practice in Bermuda. The role sits within the Bermuda, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands market and serves clients in banking, wealth and asset management, insurance and financial regulation. It is a multi-disciplinary consultancy covering project management, digital transformation, operating model design, change management and HR transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Build long-term client relationships, act as the main point of contact and advise senior stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and lead proposal development and presentations
• Lead projects from initiation to completion, keeping them on time, in scope and within budget
• Help clients run digital transformation strategies, oversee technology implementation and run testing and quality assurance
• Design and implement operating models and change plans, and deliver training and coaching
• Advise on transforming HR functions and assess current HR processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field
• About 8 years' experience as a team lead on large, complex programs in consulting, including project management, digital transformation, operating model implementation, change management and HR strategy
• Proven delivery skills: scoping and sizing projects, staffing teams, guiding subject matter, managing communications with sponsors and delivering work streams
• Portfolio program management experience with scheduling, risk, budgeting and quality management
• Managing technical direction from requirements through design, build, testing and implementation

Ideally: a Master's degree, experience in financial services and professional services, experience with executives and large-scale transformations, and knowledge of master scheduling and integrated project planning.
