Senior Vice President, Head of Property

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Head of Property leads Gallagher's property broking team, delivering high‑quality service to AJG clients and driving revenue growth. You will shape strategy, nurture client relationships, and ensure the team meets performance targets while upholding Gallagher’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with AJG Retail Brokers, RPS and other partners to build a robust property pipeline.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand existing relationships and cross‑sell complementary products.
• Represent Gallagher at industry events and networking activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Oversee daily operations of the property broking team, including account assignment, workflow management, and service quality.
• Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, and coverage options to provide informed advice to clients.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and lead renewal processes, including strategy development and market analysis.
• Negotiate quotes with Bermuda carriers, prepare recommendations, and deliver customized insurance solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in property insurance or related broking environments.
• Strong business development track record with a focus on client retention and revenue growth.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
