Stewarding & Set‑up Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the luxury resort team at Fairmont Southampton as a Stewarding & Set‑up Attendant. You will ensure all food‑and‑beverage areas are clean, organized and ready for service, supporting kitchens, restaurants, banquets and beach venues.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and maintain kitchen areas, operate dishwashers and pot‑washers, and store dishes, glassware and utensils to brand standards.
• Set up and break down dining rooms, banquet halls and beach venues before, during and after service, following event specifications.
• Manage waste sorting, recycling and product rotation to support the hotel’s sustainability initiatives.
• Replenish supplies, monitor equipment, report maintenance issues and assist with basic outdoor venue upkeep.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in stewarding, kitchen support or event set‑up, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food‑safety or hygiene certification is an asset.
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing and carrying equipment and able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial dishwashers and pot‑washers.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation and food‑safety standards.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
