Tax Consultant – 3-6 Month Contract

About the role

This contract position supports a corporate tax function within a large publicly traded insurance and financial services organization. The role offers broad exposure to tax provision, corporate income tax compliance, and process improvement initiatives over a 3‑6 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax provision workpapers and support reporting processes.
• Update tax reporting systems and reconcile supporting data.
• Assist with corporate income tax compliance, including estimates, extensions, and filing support.
• Support workflow redesign, process documentation, and workpaper standardisation initiatives.
• Maintain trackers, organise documentation, and contribute to special tax projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• 3‑5 years of corporate tax experience, including tax provision and compliance.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.

• Oracle TRCS.
• SmartView.
• Advanced Excel.
