US Tax Manager – Investment Management (Bermuda)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for investment management and reinsurance clients in Bermuda. You will oversee a portfolio of key financial services clients, ensuring high‑quality service throughout the US tax compliance cycle while embracing emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax teams and manage end‑to‑end US tax engagements, including strategy development and filing of US tax returns.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of US tax regulations and apply them to client portfolios.
• Train and coach team members on tax tools, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with client staff to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
• Participate in Deloitte’s well‑being, sustainability, and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent).
• Minimum 5 years of tax service experience in a professional services firm or large accounting organization.
• Strong knowledge of US tax regulations and experience with investment management clients.
