VP/AVP Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

AON Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd is looking for a Vice President or Assistant Vice President to lead its Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisory practice. You will work with a diverse team delivering high‑quality advisory services to commercial re/insurance, ILS, captive and white‑rock clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal colleagues to bring AON’s expertise to client engagements.
• Implement day‑to‑day governance, risk and compliance deliverables for a portfolio of insurance‑related clients.
• Guide clients on Bermuda regulatory requirements such as the Insurance Code of Conduct, Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Code, Cyber Risk Management Code, and climate‑change risk management.
• Develop, implement and maintain governance, risk and compliance frameworks and support compliance‑assurance activities.
• Assist start‑up clients with reviews and advice on proposed governance structures.
• Drive revenue growth by expanding AON’s risk consulting offering and acting as a trusted advisor to boards and senior management.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, energetic professional with a proven track record delivering governance, risk and compliance solutions.
• Organised, self‑led senior‑level risk, compliance, insurance or accounting professional with consulting experience.
• Strong ability to discuss and shape governance, risk and compliance strategies for clients.
• Experience leading projects that generate operational efficiencies and revenue growth.
