Communications & Creative Contractor

About the role

The Bermuda Health Council is looking for a hands-on, in-office Communications & Creative Contractor to work across multiple channels and formats. The role supports the Council's mission to make its message clear, engaging and mission-driven, with a collaborative team. The contract runs from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Communications: write and edit press releases, annual report content and other key publications.
• Social media: plan, create and schedule posts, reels and stories using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
• Graphic design: design layouts for reports, flyers and presentations that are on brand.
• Event management: support planning and delivery of Council events, from logistics to on-site coordination.
• Multimedia production: assist with podcast and video production (experience is a plus, not required).

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, social media content creation and graphic design.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with good organisation.
• Experience coordinating events and/or managing creative production timelines.
• Comfortable working in an in-office, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
