Director, Discover Bermuda

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a visionary leader to head Discover Bermuda, its destination management arm. The Director will shape and grow a luxury‑focused platform that showcases Bermuda’s culture, attractions, and experiences while driving incremental revenue for the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy that positions Discover Bermuda as a premier luxury destination service.
• Design and curate unique Bermuda experiences, excursions, tours, transportation solutions, entertainment, and off‑site events for guests, groups, weddings, and corporate clients.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with corporate groups, incentive programs, meeting planners, travel advisors, and tour operators.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local vendors, attractions, and community organizations.
• Oversee the profitability, pricing, and performance metrics of the destination management portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in hospitality, tourism, or destination management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth and partnership development.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, luxury‑focused environment and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
