Fairmont Gold Server

About the role

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda's largest resort, is looking for a Fairmont Gold Server. The server is a key ambassador of the Fairmont Gold experience, delivering exceptional food and beverage service and creating memorable, personalised moments for guests in the Fairmont Gold Lounge. Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, the role focuses on high-touch guest engagement that builds loyalty and repeat visits.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs and preferences, and build personal connections that encourage return visits
• Deliver refined food and beverage service with knowledgeable recommendations, showing knowledge of menus, wines and Gold offerings
• Answer guest inquiries promptly and effectively
• Maintain the lounge to the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation
• Monitor buffet and beverage stations, clear and reset tables, and support opening, closing and daily operations
• Work closely with the Gold team and follow health, safety and hygiene regulations

Required profile

• Minimum two years' experience in luxury food and beverage, preferably in an executive or VIP lounge
• Completion of a recognised hospitality, food and beverage service course or certification
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and service standards
• Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to stand and carry trays for long periods

Required skills

• Exceptional guest engagement and rapport-building skills
• Understanding of refined service etiquette, F&B operations and luxury standards
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and precise
