Food & Beverage Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Maître d’, you will oversee restaurant operations, guide the service team and ensure a seamless luxury dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned sections, coordinate opening and closing procedures and maintain service standards.
• Greet guests, present menus, take accurate orders via POS and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly and apply service recovery standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, well‑stocked service stations and ensure proper table set‑up, clearing and resetting.
• Support inventory control, assist with rostering and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams.
• Uphold Fairmont luxury brand standards, monitor ambience and handle VIP or special‑occasion guests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in luxury restaurant or hotel food & beverage service.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food safety certification is an asset.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and handle service duties throughout shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
