Head Chef – 5‑Star Hotel Restaurants

About the role

MEF Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of its innovative restaurants and lounges within a premier 5‑star hotel in Bermuda. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director to deliver high‑quality dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cost controls and budgeting for food and beverage operations.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring optimal coverage.
• Oversee catering services and develop seasonal menus.
• Maintain a hands‑on presence in the kitchen, supporting the team during service.
• Stay current with culinary trends, innovations, and health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of proven experience as a chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Italian cuisine.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Neat, clean appearance and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Honesty and reliability are essential.
