Head Chef for 5‑Star Hotel in Bermuda

About the role

MEF Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of its innovative restaurants and lounges within a premier 5‑star hotel in Bermuda. You will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on cooking to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Control food costs and manage budgeting for all outlets.
• Develop staff schedules, oversee recruitment and training.
• Plan and execute catering services and seasonal menus.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director.
• Stay current with culinary trends, innovations, and health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of proven experience as a chef in a high‑volume, upscale environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Italian cuisine where applicable.
• Strong time‑keeping, ability to work under pressure and flexible availability for shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Neat, clean appearance and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Honesty and reliability are essential.
