Laundry Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Fairmont Southampton as a Laundry Attendant. You will be responsible for processing hotel, staff and guest laundry while upholding the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold and press linens, towels, uniforms and guest clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, ironers and steamers.
• Inspect laundered items for quality, handle stains, and maintain a clean, organized laundry area.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen flow and support peak‑period needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel or commercial laundry environments is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Physical capability to lift loads up to 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to follow safety, hygiene and chemical‑handling procedures.
