Manager, Corporate Actuarial – Actuarial Analytics & Insights

About the role

The Actuarial Analytics & Insights team within Corporate Actuarial supports the Savings & Retirement (S&R) line of business. Based in Bermuda, the Manager will lead the implementation of Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) reporting requirements and ensure compliance with the Scenario‑Based Approach (SBA) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement (BSCR).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee BMA regulatory reporting for the S&R portfolio across US GAAP, US Statutory and Internal Economic Capital bases.
• Lead the preparation and submission of SBA applications, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Corporate Actuarial, Valuation, Operations, Finance, R&D and Pricing teams to align analytics with strategic priorities.
• Communicate complex actuarial insights to senior management and a broad range of stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong professional network in Bermuda to stay current on regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Strong actuarial background with experience in reinsurance and retirement solutions.
• In‑depth knowledge of Bermuda regulatory frameworks, especially SBA and BSCR.
• Proven ability to work across multiple reporting bases (US GAAP, US Statutory, EC, BMA).
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
