About the role

The Welcome Ambassador is the first point of contact for guests arriving at Fairmont Southampton. You will create a warm, memorable impression by sharing the resort’s history, guiding guests through the property, and assisting with their arrival needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and act as the face of the resort.
• Share knowledge of the resort’s history, amenities, and upcoming experiences.
• Escort guests and provide clear wayfinding throughout the property.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, ensuring safe and professional treatment.
• Tag, record, and store luggage according to Fairmont procedures.
• Offer umbrellas and weather‑related assistance to maintain guest comfort.
• Support front‑drive operations and safety to ensure smooth lobby flow.
