Director of Rooms

About the role

The Director of Rooms will lead the entire Rooms Division at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Bermuda’s only luxury urban resort. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this senior leader is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support all Rooms departments to achieve financial and operational targets through policy development, training and organizational improvement.
• Oversee revenue forecasting, yield management and RevPAR growth, ensuring accurate monthly projections.
• Handle guest concerns and TrustYou alerts, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution.
• Prepare annual budgets, capital submissions and strategic plans for the Rooms Division.
• Maintain market intelligence on the competitive set and adjust service standards to increase volume and profit.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years senior leadership experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• University or college degree in a related discipline.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple departments to meet GSI, GOP and EEI targets.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and public holidays.
