Interim Accounting Consultant – Bermuda Insurance

About the role

We are seeking experienced finance professionals to join our team of Interim Accounting Consultants serving the Bermuda reinsurance market. The role involves delivering short‑ and long‑term accounting and financial reporting projects for a range of insurance clients, offering flexibility and a varied workload.

Key responsibilities

• Provide interim accounting services and financial reporting for insurance and reinsurance clients.
• Manage short‑term and long‑term consulting engagements, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Collaborate with client finance teams and audit partners to support regulatory compliance.
• Analyse and interpret Bermuda insurance accounting standards and apply them to client projects.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CPA) with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, preferably in‑house or with an insurance service provider.
• Experience at manager level within a Bermuda audit firm or equivalent.
