Director, Reinsurance and International Markets

About the role

Kuvare Services Bermuda Ltd. is seeking a Director to lead its Reinsurance and International Markets team. You will be responsible for evaluating, pricing, and managing strategic life, annuity, longevity, and mortality reinsurance transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end pricing of annuity, longevity and mortality/protection reinsurance opportunities.
• Conduct actuarial due‑diligence, including model development, assumption setting, profitability and capital assessments.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Excel‑based pricing and projection models for flow and block reinsurance deals.
• Perform sensitivity, scenario and product‑feature testing and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Review rate‑setting and pricing of existing flow reinsurance arrangements and multi‑national blocks.
• Prepare pricing analyses, transaction summaries, governance materials and board presentations.
• Monitor in‑force transaction performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Investments, Risk Management and Legal teams on new business.

Required profile

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
• Minimum 8 years actuarial experience in re/insurance or pension consulting, with at least 3 years focused on life, annuity or reinsurance pricing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, structured workbook design).
• Actuarial modeling and transaction pricing.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 (asset).
