Senior Reinsurance Accountant

About the role

The Platinum Group Ltd. is expanding its Secondee Division and seeks a Senior Reinsurance Accountant to join a dynamic team. This role offers exposure to a variety of companies and industries, strengthening your professional profile while working on complex reinsurance accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and process reinsurance accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain premium information on proportional treaties, including premium adjustments.
• Perform cash allocations, claims calculations, and payments.
• Ensure data integrity, create queries and generate reports.
• Maintain loss information across all quota‑share arrangements.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, with at least 1 year in reinsurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
