Multi-Unit Cafe Manager

About the role

Foodhub is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Multi-Unit Cafe Manager who is business oriented, adaptable to new cultural environments and has strong people management skills. The successful candidate works alongside the Head Chef and Bakery Manager to give leadership and strategic direction to several locations, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Local store marketing and corporate marketing for all restaurants
• Recruitment, training, development and evaluation of all staff
• New concept implementations and store openings
• Asset management and inventory across all locations
• Menu design, creation and implementation with the Head Chef and Bakery Manager
• Create, maintain, update and enforce operational standard operating procedures
• Budgeting and P&L statements for all stores, with a focus on improving underperforming locations
• Develop and run marketing programmes to build delivery, take-out and catering sales

Required profile

• At least three years' experience as a multi-unit operator
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration of Hospitality with Sales and Marketing, or qualification by experience
• Management experience in the food service industry with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
• Self-motivated, analytical and strategic thinker able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
• Strong business development and organisational skills, good time management and an aggressive drive to achieve results

The role requires flexible hours, which may include shift work, weekends and holidays.
