Casualty/Healthcare Broker

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for an experienced Casualty/Healthcare Broker to join its team in Hamilton. This hybrid role involves servicing a portfolio of Fortune 1000 and major US healthcare clients, primarily placing insurance programs into the Bermuda market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage placements of casualty and healthcare insurance programs for large corporate clients.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage, and pricing with insurers and risk markets.
• Develop and present high‑quality submissions to underwriters.
• Oversee policy management, including review, corrections, and delivery to clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and sources.
• Analyze client exposures and provide risk‑mitigation solutions.
• Act as a senior team member, mentoring less‑experienced colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of casualty and/or healthcare insurance broking experience in Bermuda or the international market.
• Proven ability to handle complex client assignments independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize during busy periods.
• Willingness to work beyond normal office hours to meet tight deadlines.
• High degree of personal accountability and self‑motivation.
